Letter to a friend to lend you some books.
Examination Hall,

Dear Iqbal,
I hope that you will be
quite well by the grace of Allah. As you know, we have a lot of free time at our disposal after the examination. I am not a TV addict. I am fond of
reading books. Nothing will give you greater joy than reading books.
Milton called them
“Precious the lifeblood of a master spirit.” So they are.
I may like to read a
number of books but I want to begin with “The Fairy Tales” by
Anderson. These stories will fire the imagination. You purchased these stories
a few months ago. “Alice in Wonderland” is no less amusing. I
wonder how mathematicians managed to write such a droll book!
As you know “Reading
enlightens the mind and fills it with wisdom.”
“The Mill on The Floss”
has been my favorite. What a superbly drawn character is the ever-glorious
Maggie!
Please lend me these
books for a month. I promise to take care of them and return them as
soon as I have read them.
May we soon bask in the
sun of love and friendship?
With best wishes.
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
