Letter to the Editor
Write
a letter to the editor about access to school libraries in the evening.
The Editor,
The Daily “Dawn”,
Karachi,
Sir,
Through
the column of your paper, I want to attract the attention of the authorities to
an important issue. Everyone is realizing that in this modern era, the habit of
reading books is decreasing day by day. Even the people associated with
education is not taking interest in reading. Libraries seem to be deserted.
Books are lying dusty on the shelves. In such circumstances, it is important to
urge people to go to libraries and read books. For this purpose, people's
access to libraries should be made easy and free. They should be allowed to go
to libraries at any time to read a book.
Some people remain busy during the day hours. They cannot go to libraries to read books. Therefore, libraries should be kept open in the evening and even during the night hours. This may urge(t) the people to visit libraries and read books. I hope this letter of mine would urge the authorities to take steps to ensure easy access to the libraries.
Yours
faithfully,
