Rainy Day

Essay the rainy day is a fabulous
phenomenon of nature. It brings us great Joy. Rain devour heat and breathes new
life into a dull and dreary ambience. It modifies the whole scene. It brings
about crisp hope and a merry mood. It magnifies the beauty of nature. It departs
from a superb and occult impact upon the depressed souls. The falling rain
looks so lovely and sweet.

descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life.”
In summer, we can enjoy
the cool raindrops by exposing ourselves to them. We may make a program of an outing
either with our family or friends. We can go to some lovely place to enjoy the
fresh clean air, the refreshing weather and the lovely sights. To have a picnic
on such a day can really be a wonderful experience. At times a rainy day
becomes a matter of depression and gloom.

If the rain continues
to pour down for a long period of time, it creates problems especially for the
poor. Water stands on the roads. Streets become muddy and slippery. People are
forced to remain indoors. They cannot go out to carry out their routine duties.
That they feel uneasy and uncomfortable. People living in slums are always adversely
affected by rain.
Usually, they live in mud
– houses. The roofs of their houses begin to drip particularly in heavy rains.
They usually burn wood to cook their food. Thus, they face the problems of
getting dry wood. They cannot feed their animals properly. Thus, a rainy day
becomes very troublesome for these people.
