SHAKESPEAREAN
COMEDY
1. Definition of Comedy:
A comedy is frequently
characterized as a sensational synthesis with an upbeat consummation. It has also been defined as a play aiming at
the production of laughter, laughter and nothing but laughter. Aristotle
characterizes Comedy as:
"An impersonation
of men more regrettable than the normal, more regrettable ever not as respects
hesitant and each kind of issue, however just as respects one specific kind,
the ridiculous, ich is a species of the ugly. The absurd might be characterized
as an error or distortion not gainful of torment or mischief to other
people."
