A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed (Easy)
One day, two friends set out on a journey. They pledged to stand by each other through thick and thin. They had to cross a thick forest. They saw a bear coming towards them. They were frightened. One of them knew how to climb up a tree. He, at once, jumped up and climbed a tall tree. The other did not know how to climb up a tree. He had heard the saying, ‘ The bear does not harm a dead person’. He, at once lay down on the ground and held his breath. The bear fell upon him and sniffed him from head to foot. He took him for dead and ran away. Then the selfish friend climbed down the tree. He asked him jokingly what the bear had said in his ear. The other replied that the bear ahead advised him not to trust a selfish person. Saying this, he started his journey alone.
