Journey to Taif
The theme of this Unit No. 1 is the firm faith, endurance, and sympathy of Hazrat Muhammad (خَاتَمُ النَّبِيّٖنَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ) in the face of maximum suffering and refusal. It underlines his (خَاتَمُ النَّبِيّٖنَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ) devotion to spread the lesson of Tawheed in spite of facing mock, slur, and physical harm. The voyage to Taif displays the efforts that often accompany truth and reform. Even when denied by the chiefs and oppressed by the people, he (خَاتَمُ النَّبِيّٖنَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ) remained unwavering and hopeful. The horrible happening with 'Addaas shows how significance and truth can touch hearts even in complex conditions. His (خَاتَمُ النَّبِيّٖنَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ) prayer show off humility, deep reliance on Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالٰى), and divine strength. Another important feature is his (خَاتَمُ النَّبِيّٖنَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ) compassion, as he (خَاتَمُ النَّبِيّٖنَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَاَصْحَابِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ) picked not to curse the people of Taif despite their brutality.
