Through
the columns of your esteemed paper, I want to invite the attention of the
authorities of the health department to the bad sanitary condition of our
colony. Heaps of rubbish lie stinking here and there. The sewerage system is
defective.
Most of the gutters are without main holes. Mostly, they remain blocked. Water often comes out in the streets to enter the houses. This water has adopted the shape of small pools. These pools have become breeding houses for mosquitoes. All this produces a pungent smell. Epidemics may break out at any time. I think, your highness will personally look into the matter and save the lives of the people.
