BLESSING
IN DISGUISE
Sometimes good comes
out of evil. Man is selfish by nature and he likes that things should happen
according to his will. He becomes impatient and starts grumbling if something
goes against his will. He thinks that God is unmerciful towards him but a time
comes when he realizes that he was wrong in his thinking and there was a
blessing in disguise for him. The following story proves the truth of this
proverb.
Once a wealthy merchant
was returning home after selling his goods in the city. He had a large sum of
money with him and he had to go a long way it was getting dark so he galloped
his horse. he had not gone far when he was caught in a rainstorm. The wind blew
at a fierce speed and the rain fell in torrents. He stopped his horse under a
tree by the roadside and waited for the storm to stop. He cursed the rain which
had forced him to stand there in the cold night.
After an hour or so,
the rain stopped and he started his journey once again. But a little farther,
he found his way blocked by a fallen tree. He reined in his horse. Suddenly a
bandit appeared from behind a tree. With a pistol in his hand, he approached the
merchant and said, "Jump down from your horse and give me your purse. I
need both the money and the horse". The merchant was a sturdy and brave
man. He jumped down and before the robber could move a finger, took hold of him
by the throat and with a powerful blow sent him flying in the air. But the next
moment the merchant was upon his feet. The robber took aim and pulled the trigger
but it did not fire. He pulled the trigger again but nothing happened. In fact,
the powder had become wet from the rain. The bandit cursed the rain and took to
his heels. Only now the merchant realized that the rain had been a blessing for
him.
Moral:
1. Blessing in disguise.
2. Favour in the shape of disfavour.
3. Do not find fault with the natural
scheme of things.
It's good but I want this....!!!
