Introduction:
S.T. Coleridge was one of the founders of romanticism of the Romantic Movement in poetry, he with his friend William Wordsworth, with whom he tome the innovative Lyrical Ballads in 1798. He is best remembered today for his long historical poem! "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and for his opium-dream poem, Kublai Khan, but he was also a well-known critic and philosopher and the clout of his idea and approach can be seen in many succeeding generations of poets.
